A Message from the Headteacher:
Mrs. Bindu Rai

It is a real privilege to be entrusted with the job of leading Krishna Avanti Primary School Harrow as your Principal.

I have a wealth of experience and have been fortunate enough in my career to work in some vibrant schools and with colleagues, who have a myriad of talents.

I have an excellent track record as an experienced Headteacher of an outstanding and much sought after school in Brent. My career began in Newham. I have also worked in Hertfordshire where I was a Deputy Headteacher and understand the needs of children from a variety of backgrounds and with numerous special needs. I am also a Leadership tutor for the National College of Teaching and Learning where I have supported and coached aspiring deputies towards Headship.

My priority as Principal is to ensure that every child at KAPSH can achieve their full potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual development. My main aim is to focus upon ensuring that all children learn and make good progress experiencing the highest quality teaching and learning within a happy, safe and secure environment.

I am enthusiastic and caring. I have a passion for excellence in teaching and learning. My vision for Krishna Avanti Primary School would be to build on its many strengths and move it towards an ‘outstanding’ school. I want to prepare pupils to take their place as responsible and broad-minded British citizens and embed the Krishna Avanti ethos of character formation intrinsically so that it pervades the school and creates a compelling learning environment.

I have two children myself and so I know first -hand how important it is to establish a good relationship between home and school.

As parents, you are the most precious person in your child’s life, therefore it is important that we work together and support one another. Every child has the ability to do amazing things. I look forward to your continued support.

Together, we can make this potential a reality.

Yours Sincerely,

Mrs Bindu Rai
